Clint and Helena grew up on opposite sides of the Pisgah forest (Brevard and Waynesville) and started playing old-time/folk music at a young age. They came together just a few years ago and melded their techniques to create a distinctly Appalachian yet modern Americana sound that combines harmonies, string compositions, and original heartfelt lyrics. Call it a confluence of old-time, Americana, and bluegrass, but, by its own exceptional design, the sound and atmosphere of Clint and Helena are singular. They tour across the United States playing small music venues and they just got back from their first west coast tour with the rest of their band, Holler Choir.
