Darren Nicholson Band

A GRAMMY nominee and winner of 13 International Bluegrass Music Association awards, Darren Nicholson has taken his own brand of mountain music around the world. A regular for years on the Grand Ole Opry out of Nashville Tennessee, and a founding member of acclaimed bluegrass group Balsam Range, Darren now spends his time recording, writing new songs, and performing. You can catch Darren almost every week sharing the music he loves somewhere, traveling both nationally and internationally – as a solo artist, with his own Darren Nicholson Band, or in collaboration with other musicians.

November 24 – 5 to 8 p.m.

Marc and Anita Pruett

Marc grew up in the mountains of Western North Carolina. This Southern Appalachian Region has long been a hot bed for traditional arts and folk music. Banjo master and Haywood County resident Marc Pruett was inducted into the Blue Ridge Music Hall of Fame in March 2024. Anita Pruett, a talented musician in her own right, often plays dates with Marc and joined him on stage to play at the Hall of Fame induction.

More dates coming soon!

Helena Rose and Clint Roberts

Clint and Helena grew up on opposite sides of the Pisgah forest (Brevard and Waynesville) and started playing old-time/folk music at a young age. They came together just a few years ago and melded their techniques to create a distinctly Appalachian yet modern Americana sound that combines harmonies, string compositions, and original heartfelt lyrics. Call it a confluence of old-time, Americana, and bluegrass, but, by its own exceptional design, the sound and atmosphere of Clint and Helena are singular. They tour across the United States playing small music venues and they just got back from their first west coast tour with the rest of their band, Holler Choir.

October 13 – 5 to 8 p.m.

Laney and Bishop

Laney and Bishop have a rich heritage and deep roots in the Blue Ridge Mountains just outside of Asheville. Both artists were raised in vibrant musical communities with fathers who were integral parts of the local music scene. Colby Laney and Danielle Bishop, despite performing with many of the same musicians for over a decade, did not meet until the fall of 2022. Their serendipitous meeting has now blossomed into a powerful musical partnership.

November 10 – 5 to 8 p.m.
